With funding from the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council, CHFS provided juvenile delinquency programming for youth at risk for behavioral problems and academic failure. The program, Breaking Barriers, assisted 80% of youth participants, helping them:
- Make better decisions
- Develop morals and character
- Resolve conflicts effectively
Helping Young People Get Back on Track
CHFS entered into a partnership with the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council and Juvenile Courts, who was awarded the Second Chance Act Juvenile Grant from the U. S. Department of Justice. CHFS provides juvenile re-entry support through:
- Weekly mentoring
- Education on how to adapt successfully as youth return to their family environments
If you know a young person who is involved in the juvenile court system, Center of Hope Family Services’ Breaking Barriers program can help him or her make positive choices and move forward. For more information, please fill out the form below.
